Bryan Carter

Bryan Carter is the Senior Pastor of Concord Church in Dallas, TX, where he has served as pastor for seventeen years. Succeeding the church’s founder, he has been instrumental in leading the church to significant growth and community impact.

He is also committed to serving the Dallas community. He is currently serving on the boards of the Dallas Regional Chamber, Mayor’s Star Council, Frost Bank Dallas Advisory, Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) International, and Family Life Ministries. He serves as a member of the Dallas ISD Superintendent Advisory Cabinet as well.

He leads Harmony Community Development Corporation, an organization committed to improving the community by focusing on mental health and economic empowerment. He also leads the African American Pastors Coalition, a fellowship of churches committed to serving and addressing key needs in the Dallas community. He co-chairs the Dallas Clergy Fellowship. His past board service includes the Dallas Police Department Community Advisory Board, Dallas Habitat for Humanity, Mayor’s Taskforce Against Domestic Violence, Impact Dallas Capital, and Dallas ISD Education Foundation.

He serves as a presenter for “33 The Series,” a curriculum on authentic manhood, and a presenter for “The Art of Marriage” curriculum. He has presented at numerous conferences, workshops, leadership events, and services throughout the country. Internationally, he has served in South Africa, Jamaica, Haiti, Kenya and Israel.

He has been the recipient of numerous awards including, J. L. Turner Legal Association Community Service Award, NAACP Civil Rights and Health Advocacy Award, Dallas Seminary Inaugural Howard Hendricks Service Award, Dallas Business Journal Forty under 40 Business Leaders Award, and Dallas Baptist University Good Samaritan Award.

Bryan is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (Math and Science) and a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, where he earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education with a specialization in Family Ministry. He also is a recipient of an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Dallas Baptist University. Bryan is married to his college sweetheart, Stephanie, has two daughters, Kaitlyn, 18, and Kennedy, 16, and has one son, Carson, 13.
