Rev. Roline Thomas
A true woman of God and an example of a virtuous woman, New Orleans native Roline Thomas is a gifted preacher, counselor, teacher, and writer. She is a member of Saint Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas where her husband Earnest Thomas is the Discipleship Pastor. In 2008, she became one of the first group of women (The Saint Mark 9) in her church’s 117-year history to be licensed as a minister of the Gospel. In 2023, she was one of the first five women to be ordained by Saint. Mark. After serving over 5 years as Saint Mark’s Premarital, Marriage & Individual Spiritual Counselor, Roline organized and continues to serve as Director of the Soul Care Lay Counseling Ministry. She currently serves as the Singles Sunday School Teacher, Mid-Week Morning Prayer & Devotion Leader, and teaches in the School of Ministry. She and her husband led the Marriage Ministry, and together has facilitate in numerous Marriage Conferences across the country and in Kenya.

Possessing a down to earth and realistic manner, Roline is recognized as a role model and highly sought after counselor and mentor. She has the unique ability of connecting with people of all ages and from diverse ethnic backgrounds. She uses this strength to help empower and equip others to become purposeful Kingdom builders. Over the past 30 years as a spiritual counselor and advisor, Roline has helped hundreds of individuals and marriages find healing through the Word of God. Known for her captivating illustrations and transparency in teaching, Roline has served 5 years as a Women’s Conference speaker and Sunday Worship preacher Haiti.

Pastor Earnest Thomas
Pastor Earnest Thomas is widely recognized as a passionate teacher, shepherd, counselor and leader. In September 2003, he was called to serve as the Pastor of Discipleship at the Saint Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Christian Education Ministry.

Pastor Thomas responsibilities include developing and implementing teacher training programs, leadership conferences, church-wide studies, and Bible studies. He gives direct leadership to the Associate Ministers, Sunday School, Growth Tracks and Soul Care Lay Counseling Ministry.

In May 1997, Pastor Thomas answered the call and served six years as Senior Pastor of the True Believers Baptist Church, Wills Point, Texas. At the time of his appointment, True Believers was only in its first year of existence. Under Pastor Thomas’ leadership the church grew spiritually and numerically.

Pastor Thomas is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Southern University. He completed three years of theological study at Southern Bible Institute in Dallas, Texas. Currently he is pursuing his Masters of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry simultaneously at the Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership Development in Ames, Iowa.

Along with his wife Roline Thomas, they are the Founders and Directors of Earnest and Roline Ministries, a ministry of biblically based teaching in the form of workshops, seminars, conferences and counseling.

Pastor and Sister Thomas have four adult daughters and eight grandchildren.
