Synnamon Taylor

Synnamon Taylor serves as the Associate Director of Adult Education at HopeWorks in Memphis, Tennessee. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, she was raised in Memphis, where she developed a lifelong passion for education, leadership, and community service.

She earned a bachelor's degree in Education and Psychology from Crichton College and later received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harding University.

Throughout her career, Synnamon has served in a variety of educational and youth development roles, including positions with the Boy Scouts of America and the Tennessee Department of Children's Services. Today, she leads initiatives that empower adult learners through education, workforce development, and literacy, continuing her commitment to strengthening individuals and communities.

Beyond her professional career, Synnamon is actively engaged in ministry and nonprofit leadership. She is a member of Historic First Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee, where she serves as President of the East Jackson Community Empowerment Program, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting literacy, educational opportunities, and missions within the community.

Synnamon also serves as Convention Administrator for the Tennessee Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention (TBMEC), President-Elect of the Tennessee Association for Adult and Community Education (TAACE), and previously served as Tennessee's State Advocate for Adult Education. In addition, she coordinates the annual Edna Grafton Contending for the Faith Leadership Conference at Brown Baptist Church, helping equip pastors, church leaders, and ministry workers through biblical leadership training.

Through her professional work, ministry, and community service, Synnamon remains committed to advancing education, developing leaders, and creating opportunities that transform lives.
